When I started blog.kirsteninc.com (aka "Ponderings of a Rocknerd") over a year ago, it was a pet project with little direction. It has slowly taken on a specific tone, subject matter, and reputation that has helped me find my voice and share my thoughts/feelings with friends and the greater interweb community.
